TV DOC SAYS HE WISHES HE COULD TAKE BACK SOME SEGMENTS

On his syndicated television show and in an interview on NBC’s Nightly News, Dr Mehmet Oz addressed the doctors who are calling for Columbia University to terminate him from his faculty post, calling him a “quack.” He alleged conflicts of interest amongst his critics and acknowledged he’d like to take back some segments, adding “This is not a medical show.”

But it is and millions of Americans take his advice. The Cure Alliance believes  Dr. Oz should bear a greater responsibility in disseminating information and advice to a mass audience which does not independently vet the broadcast. This IS a medical show and is held to higher standards than entertainment shows.
